We have exciting news about a new partnership that we believe will create a unique service for parents across New York City!

You’re probably already familiar with Realbirth, the premier pregnancy, childbirth and new parent education center established by renowned childbirth educator and author Erica Lyon. And you probably also know about Tribeca Pediatrics, the rapidly-expanding practice run by acclaimed pediatrician and author Dr Michel Cohen.

Well now Realbirth and Tribeca Pediatrics are forming a new alliance to bring our services to even more parents in the city!

In September, Tribeca Pediatrics will open a pediatric office in Realbirth’s flagship education center in Hells’ Kitchen, while Realbirth will begin offering classes in the Tribeca Pediatrics spaces in both Tribeca and Williamsburg.

A new center will open in Park Slope in September where parents will be able to access both Tribeca Pediatrics’ experienced pediatricians, as well as Realbirth’s award-winning education programs.

As far as we know, this is the first time that two such organizations have joined forces. The partnership grew out of our mutual desire to provide new parents with accurate, practical information, and offer families a complete service from conception to adulthood.

Dr Michel Cohen said, "It’s a good match because we both have a practical yet low maintenance approach to parenting. Realbirth is great at educating parents-to-be during pregnancy, so that many of the concerns we see with new parents can be prevented."

Erica Lyon said, "Tribeca Pediatrics has long been a practice we’ve referred our parents to, knowing that they would not over-medicate children and emphasize the importance of parents learning to be confident and to worry less."
